Your move creep, a Robocop remake.

Robocop is one of those great 80’s sci-fi movies. Even so it’s
yet another movie franchise with an upcoming remake announced.
This time it’s by MGM and although no time frame has been
announced for it’s release an expectation of about 2010 for a
new project would not be a surprise.

Robocop has been a number of movies starring Peter Weller as
the original Officer Alex J. Murphy who get’s rebuilt after getting
gunned down to become the cyborg Robocop. Even though this
might cause some comments its still considered that Ronny Cox
was the best human enemy past the furious robot the ED-209.

What does this mean for you? It could be a good idea for a remake
as Robocop is a movie franchise where technological updates could
make for a better movie than the original. However there are large
opportunities for product placement which could make it much worse.
If there is a product placement where Robocop has a built-in iPod
socket and iTunes account then it would make a bad film for you.
Otherwise it could be an interesting experience to watch.
