GTA 4 is going to have expanded multiplayer for PC and plus it will look 10 times better on my rig then any console will. Only console I own is a Wii becuase Nintendo is the only console worth the money let alone having the best titles every other console is just a waste of money.

I think they should release it for PC, i mean every other GTA was PC based. Not to mention computers with 2 or more cores could run it better than the PS3/X360 could dream of.

Pc versions always have kick ass mods. I really dont play any of my game machines anymore, my PC is my primary game system. It would be a folly for Rockstar to NOT release a PC version.

I just hope if they do they make it compatible with XP, because vista sucks and i refuse to install it.

The PC way of gaming has been through much more tough times than now. Think about the PS1 when it came out it was cheaper than a PC that would run the same graphics, it also had a good fan base. And PC gaming still managed to survive with many new things being added such as online play!

But out with the old in with the new. The new PS3 or the Xbox 360 is far more inferior to a pc which has been slightly modified for gaming, after all you dont need to look far to find out that the PS runs an old Nvidia 6800 card with 256 mb dedicated memory, THATS 2 YEARS OLD at least ! The processor also does not come close.

The reason i think so many people are buying consolse are because:
1) they have no knowlage of how to modify a PC to run the latest games, mostly these are 12 year old kidds who flame the PC gamers who really are the GAMERS.
2)They are ppl who have ocasional use for the console, i.e ppl who are not gamers but sometimes would like to enjoy a game which they don’t have to install and mess around with the setting to get full preformance.
3)Finnaly its for a family, after all the PS3 is still the cheapest bluray player out there, and i am sure some ppl would have bought it and replaced the old convectional DVD player.

On the last note, PC gaming will never die out. FPS games are much more enjoyable on a PC and alot easier to use, modding is also a BIG factor, since you can change who the game looks and keep the game style.

Oh and by the way my PC:
AMD DUO core 3200, 2×8800GTX, 4 gig of crossair RAM. This BLOWS any console out of the water

I’d like to see it out on pc but I’m kinda getting less bothered about it with each passing day…

If R* don’t release it then the doors will be open for someone else to release a similar style game without any real competition:

gta style/sandbox S.T.A.L.K.E.R. anyone?
