Christian Slater… Now available in TV flavor!

After years of wondering why we have never seen frequent straight to DVD actor Christian Slater in a TV show (apart from an appearance in My name is Earl) it looks like an answer to the question has arrived. According to sources who have spoken to the Hollywood Reporter NBC is said to be on the fence about ordering a “Bourne Identity” meets “Jekyll & Hyde” type show starring Slater as a suburban dad who learns that his alter ego is a spy.

Without trying to be negative it sounds very much like the dropped idea of a Mr and Mrs Smith TV show from only a few seasons ago. It is also from the producer of such failed TV shows as Kidnapped and (the new) Bionic Woman.
