The release date for the PC version of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed has been pushed back once again to April 11th. While delays to make a game work are always welcome constant delays pushing a single version of a game back several months after the console versions release last year is an unhappy occurrence. Happily though the PC version is said to contain several extra missions. The catch is an extremely steep set of minimum system specs.

The new features set and specs list are from a Ubi press release.

What this means for you? There is no other way to say that the system requirements are high. A lot of people will be turned off by them and you might not be able to see the game looking as good as the console version potentially. For those who played the game on PS3 or 360 adding side missions will not be a draw since its possible to just skip a lot of the side missions to push through the campaign. Still it is good to have the title open to PC gamers so they can enjoy the open world and the stimulating audio provided by Kristen Bell.
