Microsoft Corp. today announced the launch of Windows Live Messenger on Xbox 360, connecting friends across Xbox 360 consoles, Microsoft Windows-based PCs and Windows Mobile-powered devices. With this update to Xbox 360, friends and families can easily connect and chat directly from their television using Windows Live Messenger, a network of more than 20 billion relationships and more than 260 million active accounts.

      I’m saddened at the lack of group voice chat.

      MSN doesn’t have group voice chat - hopefully it will at some point.

      Well MSN doesn’t really have to do with the lack of group voice chat. The 360’s have private chats for quite a while, but having group chats is something that the Private Chat feature majorly lacks. Even stranger still is that you can have up to 4 voice chats going, but only talking to one person at a time. It’s call waiting for a next gen console!

      Not sure if you guys saw this or not, but they are also going to have a clip-on keyboard so that you can chat easily. Looks pretty awesome.
