Remember how I made comments available to non-registered users and remember that I said spam would finally come? Well today it did. I received 2 comments one at 6:20am and the other at 6:22am. I’ll keep it unlocked for now but if it gets worse, I’m going to make it available to registered users only.
In light of that I think everyone should watch this video on spyware.

I installed the Akismet (http://akismet.com/) spam filter for Wordpress earlier in the year, and so far it’s caught over 1,500 spam comments with only a few wriggling through. It’s well worth using, and it’s saved me a huge amount of time.
I receive up to 4 spam comments a day. Some are very tricky.
