Bob’s Burgers Season 1 DVD Review

Bob's Burgers Season 1 DVD

Bob's Burgers Season 1 DVD

Last year the world was introduced to Bob Belcher and his burgers. He also has a family too, but they pretty useless. Anyway lets talk about the DVD.

Please note that I did say DVD. For some reason FOX didn’t release this show on Bluray! Ugh! Stupid. So the episodes don’t look as good as they could, but they do look fine. This collection features two discs which both do contain special features.

Every episode has an audio commentary. There’s a live action cheesy green screen music video from the song Lifting Up the Skirt of the Night. Audio outtakes from scenes within Bed & Breakfast and Sexy Dance Fighting. A video called Louise and the Chalkboard where Louise talks about her family. The coolest special feature is Bob’s Burgers Original Demo and Pilot with introduction by Loren Bouchard. You get to see what Bob’s Burgers might have been like both from a visual standpoint and story. Lets just say that the changes they made improved the show.

All in all there’s a lot of content within the special features side of this package alone to warrant a purchase. The fact that you also do get all 13 episodes from season 1 is yet another blessing.

Anyway I’m a huge fan of the show so I definitely recommend that you check this DVD out if you haven’t seen the show before!
