Oh you Grumpy Gamer, whatever could it that you’re working on?
Ron Gilbert, famed creator of the Monkey Island games has been working at Double Fine studios for a while now, the creators of Psychonauts and Brütal Legend, but what he’s been working on still remains shrouded in mystery. Over at his Grumpy Gamer blog, Ron has shown off a couple pieces of concept art (above).
Those are two of the mystery game’s playable characters and all we know about them is that their image files are named TheMobster and TheScientist (you guess which is which). Ron says that this is a game that has been on his mind since before Maniac Mansion (and for you kiddies, that’s since before the dinosaurs went extinct). He describes it as “a game that needed to be made”.
