SNES classic and one of the gods in the JRPG pantheon Chrono Trigger will be making its way to Apple’s iOS this December. Of course, this isn’t the first portable version of the game, which is also available on the Nintendo DS. But those of you running around one of those new-fangled iPod Touches and iPhones will be pleased to know that Chrono Trigger will be time-travelling all the way from the fast and onto your iDevices!
The original’s graphics will be preserved and the in-game languages will be Japanese, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese and Klingon. Well, maybe not Klingon, but you can always hope, can’t you?
No exact release date or pricing information has been revealed so far, but take this as an advance warning and start saving up. If you haven’t played this brilliant classic JRPG yet, now’s a great time to try it out!
