Another of a long line of DC finales, I am actually a bit sad to see this story go. I came a little late to this but after reading the first three issues back to back I am glad I did not sleep on this story about Gotham City’s past and one man’s quest to bring it all crashing down around the remnants of the families that built it.
9) Kick-Ass 2 #3 of 7 (Icon/Marvel Comics)

This issue has a dog mauling some bro’s nuts. That’s all I will say.
8 ) Incorruptible #21 (BOOM! Studios)

Now that The Plutonian is back in the pages of Irredeemable I how to see how exactly will Max deal with it. Waid has given us a pretty well knit universe between these two titles in the past so more of the same WILL be expected at least by the next issue if not in this one.
7) G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes #4 (IDW Publishing)

The Cobra Civil War rages on in this fourth issue. I have enjoyed the Joe relaunch for the most part since it first debuted under IDW’s watch so I hope to see some cool action in this issue and maybe Snake Eyes finally give Storm Shadow the business end of his sword (no homo).
6) Teen Titans #100 (DC Comics)

SUPERBOY PRIME!!!! Yeah, I like him. So what? It’s pretty cool that the series is ending on the 100th issue before the linewide relaunch in just two weeks. Expect guest stars galore. if you are a fan of the Teen Titans then this issue should not (hopefully) dissapoint.
5) Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #1 (Marvel Comics)

Since the death of Spider-Man brought the Ultimate Universe books to a screeching halt I am looking very much forward to this relaunch of the once mighty (and super late) Ultimates. Expect this issue to end with a bang and keep up the pace at least going forward.

3) Kevin Smith’s The Bionic Man #1 (Dynamite Entertainment)

Growing up “Smith” is reason enough for me to try anything that the man comes out with at least once. I am not too familiar with this franchise but I am sure Smith and Hester will do a good enough job to bring casual fans up to speed on the basics of the character while providing something new for longtime fans.
2) Wolverine #14 (Marvel Comics)

I for one have been very happy with the job Aaron has been doing on this Wolverine series. I love how the focus on this arc has been split evenly between the various back stories of the people holding Wolverine captive and the man himself. Throw Daken, the Dark Wolverine, into the mix and I am sold.

This is the final chapter of JMS’ very long arc of a Wonder Woman who wore a jacket and was new to the DC Universe. I know it sounds like a headache but this is my number one pick of the week ONLY because I want to see how it all ties up. I will reread all of the issues throughout this week just to I can experience the tale in one shot to experience the entire body of work.
