Halo Reach’s epic ‘Deliver Hope’ live action commercial now has a behind the scenes video.

The “Halo: Reach” live-action short, “Deliver Hope,” riveted audiences with its explosive action sequences and stirring depiction of an epic battle between UNSC and Covenant forces. Today, viewers can get a behind-the-scenes look at the blockbuster production behind one of the biggest video game live-action shorts ever released with a new four-minute “making of” video documentary. Witness how the production team transformed ordinary actors into superhuman Spartans and brought the stunning battle sequences to life with a blend of live-action performance and state-of-the-art special effects.

“Deliver Hope” is the dramatic capstone to the series of live-action ads from acclaimed director Noam Murro (“Smart People”), who also directed the “Halo: Reach” “Birth of a Spartan” short and a collection of live-action vignettes housed at RememberReach.com.

“Deliver Hope” features an original musical score written and produced by Human, with Brian Emerich (“The Wrestler”) as sound designer. The short was edited by Angus Wall (“The Social Network”), and was filmed on location in Prague. For the production of “Deliver Hope,” Microsoft and Bungie partnered with top industry talent including advertising agency agencytwofifteen, Legacy Effects (props) and Method Studios (visual effects).
