YouTube Partners can now message you.

I think these are currently only for YouTube Partners to send out to their audiences. Correct me if I’m wrong.
As a subscriber you may receive these messages:
– on your subscribers recent activity feeds
– on your subscribers recent activity module (on the homepage)
– on your channel page in your recent activity module
– through an email digest to which your subscribers can choose to opt-in (optional)
In order to subscribe via email go to your YouTube Account settings. Click on Email Options. Then click on How Often YouTube Can Email Me. Select the option I receive a message from a channel I’m subscribed to. Finally click on Save and you will receive email updates from your subscriptions.
