A living metropolis run by vampires. I’d say that’s pretty tight.
Daybreakers has a great premise of vampires ruling the world and humans on the brink of extinction. The way that this story is crafted, it’s very linear and slow paced. So that might turn off some people.
There are a couple of one-liners that are cheesy, but I did not find them really funny. It’s a shame that the characters aren’t more fleshed out.
The film is more of a gore-fest than a horror picture. Lots of blood and body parts.
With all that being said, I still got sucked into this film and would recommend it.
