Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas – Blu-ray/DVD Review

Grinch

Before Jim Carrey donned green make-up and Whoville was built on the backlot at Universal Studios, there was the timeless animated classic, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Featuring the voice of film icon Boris Karloff, this fun TV special delivers plenty of wacky antics, comedy, and heart as the evil Grinch comes to realize the true meaning of the Christmas season.

Like A Charlie Brown Christmas, Grinch stands the test of time and has become part of the holiday entertainment landscape for decades. It’s a lot of fun to watch, and the song “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” is an iconic and memorable piece of music. And yes, the guy who sings this song (Thurl Ravenscroft) is the same dude who used to voice Tony the Tiger. Definitely a must-see for any Dr. Seuss or Christmas special fan.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas comes in a remastered triple-pack, which contains a DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital Copy of the film for Grinch mayhem on the go. Along with having three ways to watch, this special edition is loaded, and I mean LOADED with special features. Here’s what you get on both the Blu-ray AND the DVD:
