We explore the new Xbox 360 dashboard Avatar setup. This update is coming for all Xbox 360 owners sometime in Fall 2009.
As far as fall updates goes this is one of the weaker ones. There are some very minor changes in this dashboard but some are rather nice. The one that I like the most is the occasional kick from an Xbox Live party that puts you back in the party you were in. The avatar marketplace is nice but I can’t see spending any of my MS points on something I don’t use very often. Still, a steampunk avatar would be nice even if I don’t use it.
The new Netflix is a load better than the original. Then Facebook and Twitter additions seem like they could be cool new features.
Netflix is a lot better, without a doubt. I can’t say I’m too interested in the facebook or twitter additions, but I don’t use either much. I AM however looking forward to last.fm on the 360.
