Metroid Prime Trilogy

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Finally something that we like.

The Metroid Prime series is by far one of the best shooters that hit the GameCube. They were challenging shooters with a twist of platforming adventure. The only thing that I can complain about this series is that it’s hard to understand the story without scanning every single item in the game. That’s both boring and annoying.

Nintendo announced today that all three Metroid Prime games will be bundled onto the same disc for a Wii release. The first two originally GameCube titles will receive a widescreen makeover and updated Wii controls. The bundle will include Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption at a price of $49.99 on August 24th.

“Metroid Prime Trilogy puts the best first-person adventures all in one place, with a host of new additions that make these three timeless titles more engaging than ever,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “A great deal of care and detail has gone into Metroid Prime Trilogy, providing longtime fans with new ways to experience the games they love.”
