FOX’s Dollhouse – January ’09

Following the Fox upfronts for the 2008-09 US television season the promotional trailers
shown to advertisers have started to appear on the net. For most this means a few quick
30 second trailers with actor names and coming soon. In the case of the midseason show Dollhouse from Joss Whedon there is much more.

Covering several minutes the youtube video is a full length trailer explaining the show from the Buffy, Angel and Firely creator. What’s even better is the show has Buffy and Angel actors including Eliza Dushku (pictured) and Amy Acker.

Flash Gordon, yet again.

 Sometimes remakes are announced which have come around so many
times they not shocking at all in their announcement but also in their content.
Flash Gordon, the almost century long franchise which has been remade
so many times it’s impossible to count will be remade yet again.
While the Sci-Fi channel has not yet announced if they are going to renew
or cancel their Flash television show currently running another version
has been announced.

Metal Gear Solid 4 – 90 Minute long cutscenes!

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who are familiar with the
popular long running game franchise. The cutscenes in Metal Gear
Solid 4 are going to be the longest yet even beating previous editions
in the series with single cutscenes running at up to 90 minutes a time.

Fast-food getting faster in Japan

A vision of the future?

Remember that film with Morgan Spurlock where he tried to persuade us that fast-food was bad?

Made to show us not only the way junk food can affect us physically, but emotionally too; it was also supposed to put a stop to corporate food chains tricking their way into the pockets (and tummy’s) of consumers with a product barely fit for consumption.

That was the premise. So what now?
