Cloverfield Mystery Solved ?

[Update]Ok so this post is BS, but we do have tons of clues in our Cloverfield Coverage!

After taking another look at the Cloverfield trailer there are multiple references to animal sounds. “What animal sounds like that?” then a huge explosion occurs with some sort of lion roar. After the crowd runs in fear someone says “I saw it, it’s a lion it’s huge.” In the past people once thought the guy said “it’s alive.” The question is, which one is correct?

Rumors are circulating that Voltron is coming to the big screen. With the major success of Transformers, fans have been clammering for a Voltron film. Is J.J. Abrams a fanboy?

  1. I think you need to read the IGN article again… It says BECAUSE of the Voltron rumors surrounding Cloverfield, SOMEONE ELSE is going to make a Voltron movie.

  2. So the script is reportedly based around the Cloverfield story? A post-apocalyptic tale set in New York City that follows 5 survivors of an alien attack… It’s a pretty big coincidence.

  3. After reading the original Variety article for probably the fifth time today, I’m going to side with the obvious.

JJ Abrams, Cloverfield, 1-18-08, and Paramount Pictures all have NOTHING to do with Voltron.

  4. Abrams stated at Comic-Con that the creature is a new monster, so Voltron, and indeed every other existing movie, TV, Anime, comic, and video game creature is out of the question.

Plus IGN really isn’t the best source of information, they’ve been known to post garbage information on more than one occasion. As the saying goes, “You can’t spell Ignorant without IGN.”

  5. Cloverfield and Paramount Pictures has noithing do do with voltron. fox is voltron’s studio and they have cast jessica alba for the role of allura
