Slither (+)

I don’t feel like making a video review nor writing an entire review so here it goes:

See this movie if you like monster movies – gross movies – movies that are funny – movies that remind you of other movies – movies that make you say “Shit!”

If you like any of the above types of movies you will like Slither! It’s all of those and more. Old school alien invasion movie with tons of awesome creatures and story twists.

LARPing AND God of War? Surely you jest.

I wish I were joking about it, but it’s true, as sad as it is. To promote Sony’s new game, God of War II, SCEA put together a little LARPing(Live Action Role Playing, think D&D minus the dice, plus the foam swords) event staring some of the stars of the God of Wars games, and just some that are fun. You get to pit 10 different characters against each other, ranging from mythological classics such as the Medusa, Colossus of Rhodes, and Zeus, to Sony originals such as Kratos, and Chubby Kratos.

The battles range from sad, to train crashes, to hilarious. Watch it, you might want to look away, but it’s like a Pringle. Once you pop, the fun don’t stop.

Quick! Cast +4 hilarity!

StumbleUpon

If you’re a FireFox user, like I am, then you might know one of the best features is it’s great series of extensions. Well a great little feature has recently hit the fox and I suggest you check it out. It’s called StumbleUpon. It’s quite a simple little extension. You install it, either from their site, or from FireFox’s extension site, and input what you’re interested in. From then on you simple hit the “Stumble!” button in your toolbar and it’ll give you a site that fits those preferences everytime. If you like it, hit the thumbs up, if you don’t, hit the thumbs down. If you have a site you like a lot, like SWL, simply say “I like it!” and, if it’s not in the stumble system, it’ll allow you to add it to their site.

You just might find that sites you already use are on stumble upon and you just might stumble upon them again.

Chupathingy

Since the days that Halo was the shiznit a group called Rooster Teeth has existed, bringing us one of the best known Machinima series known to man. A series that introduced Tex, Grif, Church, Caboose, and even Donut. I speak, of course, of Red Vs Blue. Since 2002 we have laughed, snickered, giggled, and cried from laughing too much. Yet, despite it’s popularity, Rooster Teeth is ending The Blood Gulch Chronicles at their 100th episode.

No, stop it. It’s just a flesh wound, no need to cry. This is not the end of the series, just the end of this chapter of Red Versus Blue. Bernie, one of the series’ creators, assures all fans that the series is not ending. So don’t worry, just enjoy the last 7 episodes and when that’s all done watch some of their other series until they bring the next chapter of the series.

And no, this is not a spider

Completely Lost?

Does anyone else have the same love/hate relationship with the show Lost that I have? It seems that sometimes the show will be amazing, two weeks ago, and sometimes the show will suck, like last week. I love the show but it just seems that as it goes on it becomes more and more inconsistent as to when we will actually see an episode that adds to the story and is worth watching and when there will be an episode when nothing happens. I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way.
